This meal dates back to the mid 60s when Michael and Annette Cullen opened up their home to show hospitality and share a meal with their struggling neighbors. As the group grew, the meal was moved to Milwaukee's St. Ben's church where it is today. It is now known as Fishes and Loaves. An average of 454 men, women and children are served each evening except Saturday.

In cooperation with Waupun's First Reformed Church, we prepare, deliver, and serve a meal of the 4th Friday of March and October. Our menu consists of 55 meatloafs, 160 pounds of baked potatoes, 720 bars/cookies, and 116 pounds of fresh fruit. We also take boiled eggs as an extra that many guests save for their Saturday meal. The meal is delivered by 1 PM. At 5 PM, 25 servers from First CRC and First RCA arrive to help serve. We serve until 6:30 PM and then fellowship together at Culver's.

We all feel so blessed to be able to heed the Lord's call, to care for those less fortunate, and to share in our blessings.
