Dr. Greg Schuringa
Pastor
Dr. Greg Schuringa feels blessed to be a pastor and serve the church in a local congregation. He was ordained in 2002 and was the Pastor and then Senior Pastor at Faith Christian Reformed Church in Elmhurst, IL until 2021. He began serving First CRC in Waupun, WI, in June 2021. Pastor Greg very much enjoys the full range of pastoral work: from studying and teaching God’s Word, and preaching, to pastoral care and worship planning and leading, as well as equipping and supporting God’s people for service and outreach. His wife Sarah has been involved in many and various ministry endeavors from her youngest years, including various ministries in the churches where Pastor Greg has served. Pastor Greg is blessed to have a true partner in ministry in his wife. Sarah is also involved with the Wisconsin Inmate Education Association. She is the part-time Program Assistant in the college degree program at the Fox Lake Correctional Institution. Pastor Greg & Sarah have blessed them with four children: Olivia, Hannah, Sophia, and Adrianna. Olivia is married to Isaac Dykema and they had their first baby in November 2023, Elsie Faith Dykema. Over the years, through great trials and great joys, Pastor Greg and Sarah can testify to the goodness of God!
