Being the Hands & Feet of Jesus

1 Corinthians 12:27 compels believers to understand themselves as integral parts of Christ's body. As such, each person has a role in fulfilling Christ's mission on earth. By showing love, compassion, and service to others, we embody His hands and feet, actively doing His work in our everyday lives.

The Outreach Team at First CRC has a desire to love and serve those in our community and to have our church family come around us as we do so.  The more we love, the more love we have to offer. So it is with God’s love for us. It is inexhaustible.

One way that we can share the love of Christ with others is by serving them. When we serve others it is a tangible way of showing that we are loving others as we love ourselves, and that we are putting them first.
